๐ OPERATOR EVIDENCE
Betfair Exchange liquidity for large bets
Available liquidity is the money currently offered by other exchange users at each price. A stake above displayed liquidity can remain unmatched.
What is verified
Betfair explains that the amount shown at each odds increment is the available liquidity supplied by one or more users. A customer can take all or part of it; any excess can remain unmatched.
Execution risk
For a large order, compare average matched odds, commission, partial fills and the risk that the market moves before the remaining stake is matched.
Limit interpretation
Exchange capacity is liquidity-dependent and should not be described as unlimited or instantly matched.

Why a headline maximum is not enough
A maximum stake is not a permanent operator-wide number. It can change with the sport, league, market depth, time before the event, price, account currency, jurisdiction and risk already accepted. The only reliable number is the amount offered for the exact selection when the bet is submitted.
Checks before moving a large bankroll
- Confirm that the service is legally available in your location.
- Complete identity and source-of-funds checks before sending a large deposit.
- Test deposit and withdrawal procedures with a smaller amount.
- Read maximum-payout, void-bet, palpable-error and abandoned-event rules.
- Separate the displayed stake limit from the amount that can actually be withdrawn.
- Set personal risk and loss limits even when the operator permits a larger stake.
